About A Clean Carpet Company

The Bordens and the Cates have been neighbors for about 10 years, in fact Caleb began working for A Clean Carpet Company after he graduated from high school at about the same time Peter and Carolyn moved in next door to Caleb's parents, Nick and Connie Cate. First, Caleb helped cleaning up the van or doing odd jobs and later working beside Peter when he went out on cleaning jobs. There were lots of jokes over the years, because Caleb was often mistaken for Peter's son. Since it was, and continues to be, a close relationship, they would just smile and nod when someone referred to them as father and son.

Learning the carpet cleaning business came naturally to Caleb and over the years he had become an important part of the organization. Then, after years of apprenticeship working with Peter as well as numerous certification courses on carpet and upholstery care and flood restoration, Caleb was made and even more important member of the team and given his own van.

But there were more changes to come when about three years ago Peter and Carolyn began to talk about their eventual retirement. It seemed only natural that Caleb would begin to consider the possibility of entering into a partnership that would lead to his taking over the day to day running of the business. And that is just what they did.

On January 1, 2004, Caleb completed their 3 year transition and took over as owner-operators of A Clean Carpet Company. Judy Shelton took over the office chores that Carolyn had handled for years and an unbroken line of customer oriented service that began with Rich and Carol Rosanova in 1989 and continued when it was taken over by Peter and Carolyn Borden in 1991 now has Caleb at the helm.

A Clean Carpet Company operates a fully equipped van and specializes in personalized and customer oriented service. A Clean Carpet Company continues to win friends and customers by delivering excellence with every job they undertake.
